Digital2grow Will Present At Upcoming Community Workshop In Takoma Park

Silver Spring, Maryland company Digital2grow has announced that they will take part in Enactus Washington Adventist University's symposium for small businesses. The company will join university students and faculty in an active workshop designed to help local businesses develop strategies for growth.

Planned for Friday, October 30, 2015, the symposium is titled "Growing Healthy Small Businesses" and will also include a section on "How to Start Your Own Business."

"We are thrilled to be a part of this amazing symposium," states Digital2grow spokesperson Chris Daley. "We have a number of plans and ideas that we will be sharing to help other businesses plan for their future."

The goal of the symposium is to bring together small local businesses and to provide them with an informative and active workshop that is designed to help them focus on strategies for future growth. Enactus Washington Adventist University has invited a number of guest speakers, including representatives from Digital2grow, to present their own ideas and goals to the local business owners, and to offer those who are planning to put up a business the motivation they need to get started.

"Starting a business can be scary," states Chris Daley. "We hope to motivate people into finally taking that step, which could change their future for the better."

Small business owners often find that they have very little time left for focusing on future growth because of the substantial amount of time required by various activities, from the actual running of the business to marketing their product or service. The goal of the symposium is to give these business owners some ideas and strategies that could potentially help them in envisioning and planning the future of their companies.

Enactus Washington Adventist University has currently more than 35 students who are actively engaged in leadership activities, volunteering, and generally helping to grow the community around them. The group strives to help the community with a number of projects throughout the year, donating more than 3,500 hours every year as volunteers in small organizations.

Digital2grow regards its participation in the upcoming symposium as an honor, and hopes they will also have a positive impact on their community.
