Dot&Dot, a Houston, Texas based company, has announced that they now have additional stocks for the popular small version of their packing cubes available on the Amazon marketplace. The company had recently experienced a deficiency in stocks due to the large number of orders received after the product's initial launch.
Ben Stevens, Sales Manager of Dot & Dot, said: "Our stock was getting low due to the high number of orders that we've received. We're happy to say that we have plenty small packing cubes available now."
Manufacturing specialist Kerry L. states, "Companies often see inventory depleted when they launch a brand new product. Consumers want to try that product out, and often the company cannot begin to determine just how many units they will sell during early stages of the product launch."
Dot & Dot had no clue that their packing cubes would become so popular so quickly, which led to inventory being depleted and demand being much higher than supply. "We just had no idea that they were going to be so popular when we launched them," states Stevens. "Thankfully, we're ready now for the next round of orders to come through."
Since their launch, the small packing cubes have quickly become one of the most popular luggage items on the Amazon marketplace. Running short on stock is not at all surprising considering the number of positive, five star reviews that the product has received since its initial launch.
The company cites their five star reviews as the main reason for the temporary drop in inventory. Since their launch, customers have been purchasing the cubes at astounding numbers, prompting the company to have to increase production in order to keep up with future orders. They stated that they are now prepared for new orders, and hope to keep inventory stocked, even though the cubes continue to gain high numbers of positive reviews as more and more customers learn the benefits of traveling and organizing with the packing cubes.
