Recently, the International Air Transport Association proposed to reduce the size of airline passenger carry-on bags. This caused many travelers to worry as smaller bags means less room to carry everything they need. Many airlines already charge for additional baggage, and some may even charge for carry-on luggage that goes over a specified size.
"Our packing folders are small and can fit inside any standard suitcase," stated Ben Stevens. Consumers who use these folders will not incur additional charges from airlines for having too much luggage, and they can easily fit inside most carry-on bags.
Traveling with luggage, and often with multiple pieces of luggage, is often a requirement as opposed to a luxury. Consumers today actively search for ways of packing all of their clothing, and ensuring that they are not charged additional fees for the luggage that they carry onto flights.
The packing folders from Dot&Dot can actually double as carry-on luggage to meet the requirements of airlines, and include a folding board that enables consumers to fold up shirts and other clothing items to eliminate wrinkles. Clothing can also be folded, and compressed by the envelope, so that it fits inside luggage, doing away with the need for additional bags, and hence the fees that some airlines charge for more than one bag per traveler.
